Pet Portrait Prices

I work in the following sizes and price.  The prices below are for head and shoulders with a white background.  If you want a soft color background, there is no charge.  However, if you want a specific background, scarfs, play toys, etc., there will be an extra charge of $50 plus depending on the complexity.

 Price for a Single pet in portrait, head and shoulders and no background:
-5X7" portrait matted to finish 8X10" frame size  $115

-8X10" portrait matted to finish 11X14" frame size  $175

-9X12"  portrait matted to finish 12X16" frame size   $225
-11X15" portrait matted to finish 16X20" frame size   $300
-15X19” portrait matted to finish 20X24” frame size   $390

-20X30" portrait matted to finish 24X36" frame size  $575
-Please contact me if you need a special size

* Sales tax and shipping (USPS Priority Mail) will be added to the above pricing if applicable.

Add $100 for each additional pet in the same painting.

 

Each one of my custom pet portraits are unique and one of a kind. If you want two or three dogs in the same painting, I will need a photograph of both or all of them in the same picture so that I can get a comparison of size.  Then, I can use the individual photographs of each pet to work from (unless, of course, the photograph with all the pets in one comes out great, I will use that).

 

Just email me several pictures to choose from- preferably close ups of the head so I can get detail.  Or, you can mail me the photographs, and I will return them when I am finished.  I have some helpful tips on photographing animals on this website.  Please keep in mind, the better the photo, the better the painting.

I use 140 lb. & 300 lb. Arches high quality watercolor paper and archival mats.  And, your painting will come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
 

Please allow 3-4 weeks for completion.  *I require a $50 non-refundable deposit to get your pet portrait on the calendar.  Extra time is required for the months September through December.  Rush orders will be considered for an extra fee.  My guarantee is if you don't like it, I keep the painting and the deposit and you don't have to buy it.

 

As always, a portion of the proceeds from every painting I create goes to a No-Kill Animal Rescue Organization.
